Speedy Point stage:

Speedy Point station was installed on Sept. 15, 1997, and is located at Lat 27 12' 07", Long 80 15' 32", 
on the bumper under Roosevelt bridge in Martin County, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, Florida. Stage was measured 
initially using a YSI pressure transducer attached to a PVC pipe mounted to the bulkhead 5 feet upstream 
of the shelter. Later, it was later replaced by a shaft encoder with float and steel tape, installed in an 8-inch PVC stilling well. 
Funding exists to continue monitoring stage at this site through the 2002 Water Year. Stage units are reported in feet (ft).
