Abstract

Water-resources data for the 2005 water year for Kansas consist of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; elevation and contents of lakes and reservoirs; and water levels of ground-water wells. This report contains records for water discharge at 154 complete-record gaging stations; elevation and contents at 14 lakes and reservoirs; water-quality records at 2 precipitation stations, water-level data at 15 observation wells; and records of specific conductance, pH, water temperature, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity at 13 gaging stations and 2 lakes with water-quality monitors. Also included are discharge data for 29 high-flow partial-record stations. These data represent that part of the National Water Information System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with local, State, and Federal agencies in Kansas.
